Carmel Software is pleased to announce that it has released a new web-based service called BIMDrop. BIMDrop is an online equipment and parts catalogue focused on the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing industries (MEP). An HVAC distribution house or manufacturer could post information and images on any or all of the equipment/parts that they offer, and it would be searchable by engineers and technicians by part number and/or description.

However, the one unique difference between this online catalog versus others is that the manufacturer can choose to have banner ads served for one or more of the parts to third-party mobile apps and websites that are focused on HVAC, thus increasing brand awareness.

We plan to incorporate this ad-serving functionality into several of our free mobile apps so that appropriate ads are served as technicians are using our apps out in the field. For more information on this new service, click here.
